Sandia peak looms above Albuquerque and is still covered in snow in March. The tram ride to the top is exhilarating, but the view from the top is worth the fear.
We had dinner at the bar at the top for Denise and Charles‘ 50th wedding anniversary ( *Congratulations again!).
They flew in for a week seeing the area and we caught them for a few days along our route, and gave them the scoop on Santa Fe & Bandelier. The Rio Grand river walk was our other highlight, but the old town paled compared to Sante Fe…

It was lovely to see the Sullivan’s again, and we scadadled to let them have have their vacation.
