the end of our Mediterranean visit😢.

Days in the big city of Athens went between the green, quiet and serene ancient sites, and the spray painted, boisterous, confusion of the streets.
There is a 5 day pass that gets you into the Acropolis, and most of the places to see, but that is only a small part of all there is here. I hope if you came here, you’ll get more than the 3+ days we had, because you’re gonna need it.🤞

Pics from the Acropolis, where we got to see them rebuilding the Parthenon.
rooftop restaurants abound, with nice views of the sites lit up at night…

Fantastic sculptures at nearly every turn!

We had a lovely days outing for Valentines

Orange trees line all the streets and parks
-one of the perks of visiting in winter 🇬🇷
We found the changing of the guard very entertaining - check out the shoe pompoms!

The canal at Corinth - started in the 1st century BC, and finished in 1893. We visited on our way into Athens.
Hmm. We may need help getting Wild Rumpus to Greece. Oh, and tour guides.
