Tues Jan 18.2022

stuck on the boat in the marina due to Covid restrictions …

When we signed up for the week of sailing to learn the Wingaker spinnaker, I never imagined staying on to cross most of the Mediterranean Sea … Luckily our boat company is great and Capt. Lothar is the king of the seas with over 300k NM behind the helm. Needless to say we are learning (or relearning the correct way) new tricks and best practices for sailing a catamaran.

Sadly we only have 20 hrs in Cagliari, and sadder still - Stacey will be leaving us for access to Wi-Fi so she can work😫.

I am hoping to make the next 700 NM in less than a week (probably just jinxed myself by writing that…) Ok off to meet the neighbors, since we can’t go anywhere else😳.
