Missing Mountain Brewery
Cuyahoga Falls, OH
”hoga / haga ” how to say it depends on where you come from... and I’ll leave it at that.
We figured out why there is a National Park in Ohio, and it’s because of the “Ledges” area! WOW, I’ll say, the best rock formations we’ve seen since Moab.

The walk heads around the formation for about 2 miles, and there are lots of nooks and crannies to climb through. The Ice Cave area was our favorite, although it was all amazing! I felt a little like Indiana Jones playing hunt for the lost treasure.
Brushing off the dirt, we headed back down to the Erie & Ohio Towpath Trail to bike the remaining park section. This southern end had more of a swampy feel, and we looked out for the beaver, who created the wetlands. We found more turtles, blue herons, and a trio of female wood ducks.
Another 20 miles of mostly dirt riding, and we were ready for a cold beer to wash down the dust. The problem is that most of the 25 breweries in this area are almost all closed - except this lovely large one along the Cuyahoga river. We never did find out about the phantom mountain, but we did enjoy the refreshing fruity beers, cauliflower pizza, and a dark dessert peanut butter stout.

Back to Punderson St. Park to batten down the hatches for the coming rain, and to hasten our departure to Niagara Falls the next morning.
Niagara Falls is awesome. Hopefully you’ll have good weather. Make sure you go to the Canada side. View is much better over there. Unfortunately border was closed when we visited.
Looks like you had a great time in Ohio. America the Beautiful!
Wow, Ohio looked great!!
