Mesa Verde National Park, CO

March 20, 2022

Yeah sorry - I’m going backwards to finish up the road trip story…

The park is open at this time of year, but not much of it…

At 8400 ft elevation, the trails are icy under the rim of the canyons. That being the case we did find some walks and we’re able to take in the sights even if it was from afar (There were no Ranger tours for up close looks of the cliff dwellings). Foot paths, or more like mountain goat paths, connect some of the different cliff houses, and what a scary adventure that would be to visit your neighbors!

Luckily some of the old ruins were on top of the Mesa, and we could check them out.

Thanks for the Views👍

And it looks like we will be staying in Cape Town for the next month or more… if anyone has any questions (or want to visit😜)
