Moving onto Moab

Great Basin NP->Moab

Pack up and take the “scenic” roundabout way to Moab. Then a 5 hr drive, with lunch in my old stomp of Beaver, UT, through a beautiful desert landscape and into the monolithic sandstone & hoodoo mesaland of Utah.

We find ourselves in Moab in a noisy, mid-town campground, aptly named “Up the Creek”, that fortunately didn’t wash out in the flash floods of last week. A shower was long overdue. Camp is a 13 min walk to the brewery thankfully, cause it’s hot as hell🤬 and they better have misters in the least!
